VibeMatch is a collaboration network, not a dating or hookup app. The rules below are load-bearing: features that would weaken them do not ship.
No cold DMs
Chat opens only when both creators opt in. Profile pages do not expose contact details.
Block-aware feeds
If either side blocks the other, neither one appears in feeds, search, or messages. The database enforces this — not just the UI.
Approved profiles only
Discoverability is gated by an age gate (18+) and a moderation pass. Pending profiles do not show up in the feed.
No hot-or-not metrics
There are no public swipe counters, like counts, follower numbers or hot-list rankings — and there never will be.
Need to report something?
The in-app report and block UI ships in Phase 6. Until then, contact us directly with a description of the profile or beat, the URL and what you observed. We action urgent reports manually.
